I love that you have a book with Jihad in the title.

Let me know if you find any more cool books about muslim women. :)

Well... I don't know about any books about Muslim women, but I found good ones about Iranian women who don't like the Islamic regime. like "Lipstick Jihad" and "Funny in Farsi" - recommend those for sure.
BTW, Jihad means "to struggle", and that is why terrorists use it when they are describing forcing Islam on people because it is part of their "struggle" to rid the world of immorality, etc. Jihad as one of the pillars of Islam means your struggle to be true to Islam, sort of like how we talk about our "walk" in the Christian faith, or a more active version of sanctification (if it were something we did). It does seem funny at first, though, when you don't realize the contest.

*context. haha. (as in, context of the book title)

Hello Allison,

Just passing through (these blog things are public you know!) and I noticed the question about books about muslim women. I haven't read a whole bunch. But The Bookseller of Kabul was fascinating.
