I remember good Friday's when I was a catholic and went to Catholic school. We weren't allowed to talk above a whisper is reverence and mourning for Christ who died for our sins.
If you have never been through the stations of the cross during this time of year I would encourage you to go. It's a good reminder of what Christ did for every one of us, and what we celebrate come Sunday.
During middle school when I was at a Catholic school, I remember learning a lot from the stations of the cross. I remember trying not to cry because it was overwhelming to be seeing and speaking such intense things.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him."
