And I discovered two daphne plants on campus. There are white flowering trees everywhere in Columbia, and, while they look nice, they do not smell good at all. Thank goodness for the heavenly daphne.
The azaleas are starting to bloom, as well, with no smell. So it was a pleasant surprise when I took a different path to class and got a whiff of daphne.Mmm... smells like Easter.

uh oh! I just missed the south.
i'm sicky for many reasons: i'm still recovering from a kidney infection i had a few weeks ago, instead of bed rest for that i dove into designing that show, i average about 12 hours sleep for every three days, and i'm very stressed because all my friends are driving me crazy and i got laid off last week. and i'm moving. hence, the puking.
this will all calm down may 1st. i'll be moved, i will have a new job, and i'll be away from the crazies. meanwhile, i shall settle for a lie-in tomorrow morning, since it's good friday. happy easter to you, my darling.
