These are the words I read about in my homework tonight.
I'd love to know if anyone knows the meaning and usage of more than two of these off the top of their head:
Parallelism
Isocolon
Antithesis
Ellipsis
Asyndeton
Polysyndeton
Anastrophe
Parenthesis
Anaphora
Epistrophe
Antimetobole
On another note, here's some proof that it does rain here occasionally.

Me, I do! If the criteria is just knowing more than two I feel very smart tonight (laughing).
Which ones did you know?
parallelism, elispsis, antithesis, and parentheses. (are you sure you meant to include parentheses?)
Yes, as a literary scheme, parenthesis needs to be included. (Parenthesis: and item that interrupts the normal flow of a sentence). I suppose I ought to have asked who knew the terms as they fall in a literary context.
But good job :)
